After the 2 hour online webinar addressing Preparing for a Career in Academia, participants will:

• Describe the general roles and responsibilities of OT faculty members according to type of educational institution.

• Articulate experiences that enhance the transition from practitioner to academician.

• Illustrate the characteristics of an academic work environment.

• Recognize resources in order to generate a plan to seek and engage in preparatory experiences suited for work in the academy.
